Power Cord for Wurlitzer 200A Electric Piano

Detachable cord with an old-style oval three-prong connector, or a standard IEC cord if the piano was converted

Verified November 2026
?

Which one do you have?

You need: Oval 3-prong Wurlitzer cord (old stock). A tech can convert the piano to a standard inlet.

You need: Standard C13 cord

You need: A prior owner bypassed the jack; needs a tech before use

Cheap option, check one thing first

IEC C13 cord, converted pianos only

IEC 60320 C13 mains cord, for a rectangular inlet only

A piano someone already converted takes a standard cord, while an original oval socket doesn't.

Check first: Look at the socket. Rectangular three-pin takes a C13. Old oval socket takes only the oval NOS cord.

The usual mistake

Assuming a modern C13 fits the original oval socket; it won't without routing the hole and fitting a new inlet.
